Meet Our Staff
Julie Mathers
Julie Mathers,
ERYT -500 hour, Tier 2 Certified Baptiste Power Yoga Teacher, MS Ed., and a mom to three.
I love summer and warm weather, anything pink and my favorite singer is Debbie Gibson.
In 2007 a friend asked me to try a Baptiste Power Vinyasa class and I said yes, with lots of hesitation ( I was a 7 year old Bikram Yogi) After my class I was hooked! The power, the presence to the physical body, the challenge and heat!
I completed my 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in 2009 and started to teach Baptiste Yoga right away. I completed my level one Baptiste training in 2015 and my level two training in 2016, completed my certification as a Certified Baptiste Power Yoga teacher. I have been teaching yoga in Lancaster County since 2009!
After recovering from an eating disorder, I hope to inspire hope and healing through yoga. Yoga being a vehicle to get present in the physical body, enter into a space of possibility, and find empowerment.

She is also active in the Lancaster 12 step recovery community.

Jen Guarino
I have been practicing yoga for 15 years, and achieved my 200-hour certification in June of 2024. I am a mother of 2 energetic boys who enjoy school, basketball, and time with family and friends. I cherish every minute I spent with my teenage boys, I love practicing yoga, travel, and I’m active in the Lancaster Recovery Community. Yoga has been an integral part of my recovery journey and continues to be on a daily basis, I hope to create a safe space for people to grow and heal in their own personal journey. As a cofounder of Lancaster Power Yoga I hope to contribute to clients physical and mental growth, passion, and be a source of balance.

Jared Sullivan
On September 10th, 2022, Jared was 295 pounds, in active addiction and wanted to die. He got his wish the very next day, and found out that he didn’t want it. He realized he needed to change how he was living and himself. Jared is now over 2 years sober, and since his Sobriety date he has radically transformed his life. He went back to school, changed his career focus, and decided to dedicate his life towards helping others both in and out of recovery achieve their goals, dreams, and ambitions. While in rehab, Jared was reintroduced to Yoga. Noticing that he was rather flexible for how large he was, he decided to keep it up when he left treatment. He kept his promises to himself. He remained sober, worked hard to change the things that he did not like about his life and has helped him transform himself mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. He is now 173 ILBS, practices two Recovery programs, and Yoga almost daily. Yoga is an integral part of his well-being. He feels a sense of contentment most of the time, that has alluded him for most of his life and is excited to help others along their journey of transformation.
